Annie Yan is a junior at Rice University and a Junior Lead Intern at the Houston Asian American Archive (HAAA). In addition to leading oral history projects, she contributes to the preservation of Asian American histories through archival work, including transcribing and translating letters, documents, and oral history materials. At Rice, she studies Social Policy Analysis and Managerial Economics, with interests in law, public policy, immigration, and community advocacy. She is also involved in civic engagement and community-based work focused on equity and access.
