BIO

Judy Lee was born and raised in Houston in 1956. She was born to a Chinese father and an European mother. In her childhood years, Judy enjoyed the close-knit relationships with her family and had vivid memories of growing up in the grocery store that her parents once ran. She attended the University of St. Thomas, a Catholic college located quite close to Rice University and received her Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration. Judy then completed her JD at the University of Houston Law Center. Judy has extensive experience in handling immigration cases for some of the largest corporations and academic institutions, as an expert in immigration and nationality law issues. In this interview, Judy Lee discusses her upbring in Houston and how the city has changed over the course of her lifetime. She also talks about her academic as well professional experiences in the immigration business. In the end, Judy gives valuable advice to students who are still trying to get their life path figured out.
