Edmond Gor was born in Houston, Texas on January 18, 1950. His parents owned a grocery store and he grew up with six siblings. He attended the University of Texas in Austin and started dating his wife during his last year in college. Mr. Gor has been involved in numerous organizations including Chinese American Citizens Alliance (C.A.C.A..), Houston International Festival, Texas Gulf Coast Workforce Commission, etc. He is now retired and enjoys volunteering and reading parts of books.
