Echo He, who lives in New York, is a gallery owner and curator at Fou Gallery and Outreach and Programme Manager at Pace Gallery’s Research and Archives Department. She spoke to the Archive about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic to her life and work, the “N95 for NYC '' initiative she started to provide PPE to severely impacted hospitals and nursing homes, and her charity auction in aid of local artists and charities. She also spoke about the impacts of the pandemic on the art community, the progressive reopening of museums and galleries, and the future prospects of this specific group. She particularly shared her thoughts about a CDC post that is perceived broadly to be inappropriate.
