BIO
Anhlan lived through the Vietnam war as a young child, and later, after many attempts, escaped to Canada with her family, where she went on to obtain a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto. Anhlan has been an active volunteer for the Vietnamese youth ever since she arrived in Canada, and has played an integral part in many community service organizations over the years, including a youth leadership program that she founded. She has also received national attention, as Barack Obama appointed her to the Vietnam Education Foundation Board to organize education initiatives between the U.S. and Vietnam. Anhlan left her corporate job to pursue her true passion, community service, and she has recently started to mentor others as a professional life coach.
