The special oral history collection is created in response to COVID-19 that started in February 2020. Helen Chou, the Senior Manager of International Services at the Houston Public Library, talked about how the pandemic has impacted her personal life and work experience. She discussed how the Houston Public Library has made transitions in response to the outbreak. She also shares her opinions on anti-Asian sentiment at the start of the pandemic, as well as perspective on the outlook and future of Houston community.
